Monterey Jack Cheese Slices
TASTE: Monterey Jack, sometimes shortened to Jack, is an American style white, semi-hard cheese made using cow's milk. It is noted for its mild mild, buttery flavor and a pale-yellow color with a compact and supple texture.
ABOUT Monteray Jack: In its earliest form, Monterey Jack was made by 18th-century Franciscan friars of Monterey, Alta California. California businessman David Jacks sold the cheese commercially. He produced a mild white cheese that came to be known eponymously as "Jacks’ Cheese" and eventually "Monterey Jack".
QUALITY: Carron Lodge are a fourth generation farming family producing award winning cheeses. This Monterey Jack cheese, is produced on their farm from their own milk in Inglewhite, Lancashire. It is sliced into approx. 90mm sq pieces and they weigh approx. 20g each.
INSPIRATION: The cheese is a classic authentic melting cheese and ideal for burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Each packet contains around fifty slices.
