Reblochon de Savoie AOP au lait cru
TASTE: This cheese has a thin natural rind and a smooth, soft paste. The flavours of this cheese build up to an intense nutty aftertaste.
ABOUT Reblochon: Reblochon is a creamy washed rind cheese that is rich yet not too powerful in flavour, and is one of the tastiest cheeses of France. It’s made in the mountains of the Haute Savoie from cows milk. The name Reblochon derives from the word ‘reblocher’ which literally translated means: ‘to pinch a cow’s udder again’.
QUALITY: Reblochon de Savoie AOP au lait cru is made only from fresh milk from the farm. Unpasteurised, full fat, fresh and creamy - Milk that has a flavour second to none and this translates into the flavour of the cheese.
INSPIRATION: Reblochon is ideal for the classic “Tartiflette”, a delicious baked gratin that’s traditional in Haute Savoie, and of course with a glass of Savoie wine. The cheese is also excellent melted on baked potatoes, with a generous spoon of black truffle honey just to top it all off!
